DUBAI – United Arab Emirates on Tuesday jacked up price of petrol and diesel for month of May 2024, with Super 98 petrol price climbs to Dh3.34 per litre, Special 95 to Dh3.22 and Diesel at Dh3.03.

Super 98 petrol will be priced at Dh3.34 per litre, up from Dh3.15. Special 95 petrol will cost Dh3.22 per litre, an increase from Dh3.03 last month. E-Plus 91 petrol will be Dh3.15 per litre, compared to Dh2.96 in April. Diesel will be Dh3.07 per litre, down from Dh3.09 last month.

The fuel price committee liberalized fuel prices in 2015, allowing them to fluctuate with market conditions.
Oil prices have been volatile recently, driven by concerns over geopolitical tensions and fears of slowing demand amid higher inflation.
Brent, the global oil benchmark, was trading slightly lower at $88.35 a barrel on Tuesday at 11:09 am UAE time. West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the US crude benchmark, was down to $82.53 a barrel.
