Two robbers injured, held with arms after encounter

Two robbers were injured and arrested with arms and a motorcycle after exchange of fire with police here on Monday.

According to details, the police signaled to stop six suspects riding two motorcycles at picket near PathaMandi in Shahdara area of Lahore. However, the suspects instead of stopping started firing at police and attempted to flee from the scene.

In retaliatory firing of police, two robbers including Mohsin Khan and UmerAzmat were injured and held while their four accomplices managed to escape. The injured and held robbers were wanted by police in dozens of cases of robberies, street crimes and police recovered a motorcycle and illegal weapons from their possession.
