Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq has said that the late Abdul Ghaffar Aziz made a great contribution to achieve the goals, the JI’s struggled for. He spent most of his life in the service of Tehreek-e-Islami with full dedication and commitment, said the Senator, adding the men like Ghaffar were the face of JI and Muslim ummah. The JI Chief was presiding over a condolence reference held for the JI leader Abdul Ghaffar Aziz at Mansoora on Friday. Secretary General Amirul Azeem, JI leader Maulana Abdul Malik and Hafiz Idrees spoke on occasion. Leaders of different Islamic movement from Palestine, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, India, Iran, Bangladesh, Malaysia and other countries also paid tribute to the religious services of late Ghaffar who served for long years as director of the JI foreign affairs cell. Sirajul Haq on occasion, highlighted the need for unity among the ranks of Muslims Ummah, saying this was the only way to cope with the challenges and conspiracies being hatched by the enemies of Islam and Pakistan. He also talked about the genocide of Muslims all over world and particularly in Kashmir and Palestine and urged the OIC and rulers of Islamic countries to play their role for the liberation of the people the occupied areas.–INP
