The City Traffic Police (CTP) Lahore on Wednesday announced the establishment of temporary driving testing centers at four new locations within the city. This initiative aims to address the growing demand for driving licenses and reduce waiting times for applicants.
According to Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Amara Athar, testing camps will be operational starting today at Gaddafi Stadium, Fortress Stadium, Defense Phase 6 Head Office, and Jilani Park Parking. Citizens can visit these centers for their driving tests between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
In addition to the new temporary centers, the CTP currently operates 33 permanent police service centers across Lahore. Notably, 8 of these centers offer 24/7 services, ensuring accessibility for citizens seeking assistance.
For further convenience, CTP Lahore has also launched an online portal for obtaining learner permits. This initiative allows individuals to apply for permits from the comfort of their homes, streamlining the process and saving valuable time.
CTO Amara Athar emphasized the importance of these initiatives in improving traffic management and promoting road safety. By facilitating the issuance of driving licenses and raising awareness about traffic rules, CTP Lahore is committed to creating a safer and more efficient transportation system for the city.
