Traffic Police issues over 74,000 driving licences in a single day

Following an order by Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi to crack down on the drivers who do not possess licenses, the traffic police issued over 74,000 licenses yesterday. According to the spokesman for the Punjab Traffic Police, the sergeants also issued more than 74,000 driving learner permits in a single day.
Lahore surpassed other districts of Punjab where over 24,000 licenses were issued.
