In a tragic development in Bannu, three teen sisters drowned in a pond located in teshil Domel of the district on Saturday.

The three sisters went to wash clothes from the pond’s water. As one of them slipped and fell into the pond, the other two also jumped in to try to save her. But all the drowned in the pond. The bodies were shifted to the THQ Hospital for further action.

Domel is an administrative subdivision of the Bannu district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is located about 15 km from Bannu on Bannu–Kohat Road.—INP
