Three killed, as many injured in two groups firing

Three people were killed and three others sustained gunshot wounds in armed clash between two groups at Shah Alam Bara Market.

The police have registered a case of firing in Shah Alam Bara Market against the rival groups while bodies of three persons and the injured persons were rushed to Mayo Hospital.

Sources said that condition of the injured was out of danger. Police received reports of gunfire between the two groups.

Among those killed in the Shah Alam firing were Chaudhry Zubair, Mohammad Bota and Atif. Injured Tahir, Imran and Irfan were shifted to Mayo Hospital for medical treatment.

Footage of stampede also came to light due to firing. In the footage, the injured can be seen lying on the road. After the firing, the injured were brought to the hospital on a rickshaw.

Citizens are fleeing here and there in fear. In the footage, heavy gunshots can also be heard.

CCPO Ghulam Mehmood Dogar sought a report from SP City Hassan Jahangir and ordered arrest of the accused.

On the other hand, Punjab CM also took notice of the incident of firing in Shah Alam Market and sought a report.
