At least three people including a child died and women among four others were injured in separate incidents of firing and road mishaps here on Wednesday.
Police said that a minor child identified as Rafaqat was killed in jubilant firing during wedding ceremony in Adda Khewa, Chiniot. An over speeding motorcycle collided with a tractor trolley in Changranwala resultantly motorcyclist Ghulam Ali died on the spot.
An elderly woman Ulfat Bibi 70, died after she slipped and fell in drainage nullah in Chenab Nagar.
Two women among four people including Sawaira, Shaheer, Fakhara and Ijaz were injured when a carry van over turned while trying to save a dog when suddenly appeared on Sargodha Road near Chungi No. 3.
The bodies and injured were shifted to different hospitals of respective area for medico-legal formalities.
