At least 18 students of the Government Girls High School Makli were reportedly diagnosed to having Corona virus this was revealed as after the pupils were examined by health department to test crona here the other day.
Dr. Juman Naserani, the Focal Person of the Department of Health for Corona, told reporters that after conducting corona virus test of 450 students of Government Girls High School Makli, the Corona virus was confirmed in 18 students of the seventh and eighth class therefore all the affected students also have been isolated in their homes.
He said some 7,421 cases of Corona virus have been reported in district so far and out of which 6890 have been recovered and the rate of Corona cases has been recorded at 3% in district.
He appealed to the people to take precautionary steps to protect themselves by being effected. On the other hand the school have been closed for five days under the SOPs he added.
