The President further hoped to see the next ten thousand people trained by this partnership create a positive impact across Pakistan.”

The Chairperson further added, “We have worked heavily on Policy level by developing a New Skill Ecosystem, we have increased access to Skill Education through Introduction of PKR 1500 Million Hunarmand Nojawan to add Additional 100,000 Students to training, Improved Quality through Internationally Recognized Competency Based Training & Assessment (CBT&A) & International Accredited our Institutes through Asia Pacific Accreditation & Certification Commission (APACC), Conducted 1st Skill Mapping of Punjab, Provided Better Economic Opportunities by Providing On Job Training with enactment of Apprenticeship Act 2021 after 60 Years and launching Pakistan’s 1st Skill Technology Park to Provide Youth with Hi-tech Skill Ecosystem.”

Highlighting the Need for Women Empowerment, Chairperson said, Women Empowerment has been a critical aspect of our Skill Ecosystem and we are delighted that with Global Partner Meta (Facebook) and particularly “She Means Business” we have been able to make a difference in lives of 3000 Female Students and their communities.

We have been able to positively impact their economy with Female Students now earning more than PKR 1 Million Annually, so much so that one of the success stories of Shireen Botique from Rahim Yar Khan has been mentioned globally.

Most encouraging aspect for us has been the talented population of Pakistani youth that reside outside of main urban centres. Youth living in semi urban and rural parts of Pakistan are no less in talent or skill than young people anywhere else in the world.

I offer all support with hope that Meta will continue to invest in the young people of Pakistan and will grow their investments and commitments in the areas of rural connectivity and digital literacy.” he said.
