The Saturday Welfare Group (SWG) hosted a successful fundraising event to support the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), securing pledges exceeding Rs 30 million.
The funds will be used to provide educational opportunities for 98 financially deserving scholars. The event was organized by Danish Aman (SWG) and featured Dr. Rizwan Riaz, Air Vice Marshal (R) and Pro-Rector of NUST, as the chief guest. The hosting committee comprised prominent SWG members, including Jahangir Anwar Sheikh, Zahid Hameed, Saad Anwar Shaikh, Aurangzeb Anwar Shaikh, Farhan Ashrafi, Fahad Ilyaz Nainitalwala, Shahjahan Anwar Shaikh, and Abdullah Akhtar.
Attendees generously contributed to the cause, demonstrating their commitment to supporting education in Pakistan. In recognition of their efforts, NUST presented souvenirs to the SWG members as a gesture of gratitude.
