Governor Sindh, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, emphasized the transformative potential of Pakistan Sustainability Week, calling it a milestone for the nation’s economy, energy, and industrial sectors. Speaking at the event hosted by FAKT Exhibitions at the Expo Centre as the chief guest, Tessori highlighted how the exhibition would create new opportunities in industries such as agriculture and business while fostering innovation in environmental protection and renewable energy. The governor praised the participation of over 200 leading global companies from 10 countries and applauded FAKT Exhibitions for their efforts.
He expressed hope that the event would pave the way for sustainable development in education and technology and play a key role in promoting tourism and international investment in Pakistan. During his tour of various exhibition stalls, Governor Tessori spoke to the media, stressing the importance of alternative energy solutions. He advocated for establishing a solar panel industry in Karachi, which he said could provide affordable electricity and contribute to economic stability.
“We all want Pakistan to progress economically,” he remarked, noting that solar systems offer a viable solution for cheaper energy. In response to a question, Tessori emphasized the link between economic stability and Pakistan’s global reputation. He also criticized the interest-based financial system, suggesting it has caused significant challenges for the country. He further noted that whenever Pakistan tries to strengthen its economy, external conspiracies emerge.
The governor concluded by calling for collective efforts to rebuild the nation’s economy, expressing optimism about Pakistan’s future.
