Supporting needy to bring economic stability

Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Asharf has said that supporting the needy to be economically self-independent would bring economic stability in the country. He expressed these views during his meeting with Dr.Amjad Saqib Founder and Chairperson of Akhuwat Foundation in Islamabad Saturday.

He said the interest free loan service of Akhwat foundation especially for needy women is praiseworthy and encouraging. He said that economy challenges faced by masses need the support of Akhuwat like foundations.

While appreciating the projects of Akhwat in the field of Health and Education, Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf has appreciated Akhwat interest in these areas. He expressed hope that Akhwat would extend its services in Gujar Khan as it already has almost five thousand beneficiaries in Gujar Khan. He also expressed his willingness to attend the seminar of Akhwat next week in Gujar Khan.—APP
