MUMBAI – Former Indian cricket team captain Sunil Gavaskar on Thursday predicted the four teams that will reach the semi-finals of the upcoming T20 World Cup to be held in the West Indies and the USA.

Now, Sunil Gavaskar also selected four teams that he believes will be the semi-finalists. According to Indian media reports, Sunil Gavaskar did not include Pakistan among the four semi-finalist teams for the T20 World Cup. According to the former captain, India, Australia, England, and the West Indies will reach the semi-finals.
It should be noted that the ICC T20 World Cup will start on Sunday, June 2, with two matches in the group stage. The first match will be between the USA and Canada, while the second match will be between the West Indies and Papua New Guinea.
Earlier, there were reports of security issues arising for the Pakistan-India match to be held in New York during the ICC T20 World Cup. Media reports suggest that before the Pakistan-India clash on June 9, there have been threats of terrorist attacks, prompting New York authorities to increase security for the match.
During the T20 World Cup, India will play 4 matches in New York, while Pakistan will play 2 matches. New York will host 8 matches from June 3 to June 12.
