KARACHI – Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves stood at $16,111.3 million as of October 11, 2024.
According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday, liquid foreign reserves held by the central bank stood at $11,022.7 million.
Net foreign reserves held by the commercial banks stood at $ 5,088.6 million as of October 11, 2024. During the week ended on October 11, 2024, SBP’s reserves increased by $215 million to $11,022.7 million.
SBP is witnessing a trend of increase in the liquid foreign reserves for the last eight months. Last week, SBP’s foreign reserves increased by $30 million to $9,466.6 million.
Net foreign reserves held by the commercial banks stood at $5,329.5 million. As of September 06, 2024, Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves stood at $14,796.1 million.
