LAHORE – Punjab Police officer Riffat Bukhari has been selected for an international award for her outstanding services in the police department
Acknowledging Bukhari’s exemplary performance, the International Association of Women Police has picked her for the Excellence in Performance Award 2024. This award is presented annually to one female police officer from around the world in recognition of their exceptional services to the society.
Riffat Bukhari, who is currently serving in the Punjab Safe Cities Authority, has been selected for the award for her prominent contributions to women’s safety, the use of artificial intelligence in apprehending criminals, and the development of intelligent traffic management systems and road safety mechanisms.
Deborah Friedl, President of the International Association of Women Police, has extended congratulations and commendation to SSP Riffat Bukhari through a special letter for her selection for the global award.
SSP Riffat Bukhari will receive the award at the 61st annual conference of the International Association of Women Police in Chicago, USA, scheduled for September this year.
