Special committee constituted to address overseas’ problems

Overseas Pakistani are assets of the country and playing vital role in progress and prosperity of the country to earn foreign exchange while government is focusing to address their problems on priority basis so that they could perform their duty in abroad without any tension about their families and properties in Pakistan.

He stated that government had constituted special Overseas Pakistani Committees at district level to address their problems at local level sharply.

These views ere expressed by the Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Muhammad Asif Raza while addressing the meeting of District Overseas Pakistani Committee, Hafizabad. The progress on applications of overseas Pakistani and their families was reviewed in the meeting.

He directed the officers of different department to resolve grievances of overseas Pakistani and their families on priority basis.

Meanwhile, addressing another meeting, DC Muhammad Asif Raza said that special measures were being taken to remove encroachment, beautification of city and provision of uninterrupted communicational facilities to citizens especially pedestrians women and children.

He said that al pushcarts of vegetables and fruits would be shifted at premises of old Tehsil office so that employment of pushcarts venders could not sufferADCG Hamid Nasir Goraya, AC Murad Hussain, Chief Officer MC Unit Hafizabad Ikramullah Sandhu, Incharge Model Bazaar Ali Raza Naikokara and other officers attended the meeting.
