United Business Group (UBG) central core committee meeting was held yesterday. Chairman UBG Shahzad Ali Malik hosted the meeting.
Businessmen representatives from all over Pakistan participated in the meeting and all four provinces. The members of the central core committee unanimously elected young business leader SM Tanveer as the Patron-in-Chief of UBG.
The position of Patron-in-Chief was vacant due to the death of SM Muneer, father of SM Tanveer and prominent leader of the world of commerce.

On this occasion, SM Tanveer said that the position of Patron-in-Chief is a great honor for him as my father SM Munir served the business community for years in this position. I will not only keep the UBG united but make it active across the country as before.

President UBG ZubairTufail said that SM Tanveer will lead our group from strength to strength as the Chairman. He said that during the last three years the problems of the business community could not be solved by FPCCI and the current ruling group failed to represent the business community.

Shahzad Ali Malik expressed his belief that SM Tanveer as Patron-in-Chief will be able to keep the business community united like his father SM Munir.
