Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid has said that the Department of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Punjab has introduced a new policy on local purchase of medicines.
New policy will set a new standard of transparency in the health department.
Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said that Secretary Health Punjab Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi and his team deserve congratulations. Secretary Health Punjab Dr Ahmad Javaid Qazi has said that under the new policy of local purchase, the trend of competition will increase.
Provision of free medicines to patients will be further improved – the entire system has been computerized under the new policy.
Providing free and quality medicines to patients in hospitals is our top priority.
