PESHAWAR – PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat’s brother has been appointed as special assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

He has reportedly been given the Ministry of Science and Technology and Information Technology. Khalid Latif is not an elected member of the provincial assembly.

A section of social media has slammed the decision, as they are calling it favouritism and nepotism.

On March 6, the fifteen-member cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took oath in Peshawar. Outgoing Governor KP Haji Ghulam Ali administered the oath to cabinet members at the Governor House.

Members of the KP cabinet includes Arshad Ayub Khan, Faisal Khan Tarakai, Mushtaq Ghani, Taj Mohammad Trand, Fazal Shakoor, Dr Amjad, and Riaz Khan.

Meena Khan Afridi, Aqibullah Khan, and some other leaders were also sworn in the provincial capital.
