Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday emphasised the importance of enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and Turkiye in trade, investment, and defence during a meeting with Turkiye’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Irfan Neziroglu.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the growing bilateral ties and thanked Turkiye for its steadfast support regarding Kashmir. “Pakistan will also continue to lend its strong support to Turkiye on its core interests,” he affirmed.

Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the newly appointed ambassador and expressed his eagerness to collaborate closely to further strengthen the relationship between the two nations. He extended his best wishes to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and reiterated an invitation for him to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience.
