Central Information Secretary Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians and member of the National Assembly Shazia Atta Marri has said that Wednesday’s protest of MQM Pakistan at outside of the Chief Minister House was a regrettable act.

In a tweet on her Twitter account heron Thursday. Shazia Marri uttered that holding a peaceful protest is everyone’s constitutional and democratic right and Pakistan Peoples Party has always been exercised its democratic right of protest and still doing so today.

Ms Marri added that Pakistan Peoples Party had faced the atrocities of the state institutions bravely but did not violate the constitution and law of the state. She said that MQM Pakistan’s leadership should avoid to sabotage the peace of Karachi but despite of it, MQM-P should be given priority to initiate dialogues over any issue with the Sindh government.—INP
