Shazia Karim Sanghar, MPA from Lyari, expressed her concerns about the federal government’s treatment of Sindh regarding the NFC Award she said this while addressing Sindh assembly’s session chaired by Speaker Owais Shah here on Thursday. She stated that the federal government should stop treating Sindh like a stepchild, emphasizing that Sindh is being overlooked in various areas. These include the fair distribution of resources like water, delays in providing funds for flood victims, and neglecting Sindh in PSDP schemes, all reflecting discriminatory behavior towards the province.

Shazia Karim Sanghar further asserted that the federal government must grant Sindh its rightful share and change its approach. She commended the efforts of the Chief Minister of Sindh, noting that despite challenging conditions, the 2024/25 budget presented by Syed Murad Ali Shah is balanced and people-friendly. She applauded the Chief Minister for presenting a historic 12th budget.
