Every year, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust organizes a polo cup to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection in saving lives. This year, Shaukat Khanum Pink Polo Cup (SKPPC) is taking place at Jinnah Polo & Country Club in Phase 8, DHA, Lahore.
There are six teams participating in the tournament this year and the much-anticipated final match will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020.
The grand finale will be a socially distanced picnic where public will enjoy musical performances by Aima Baig and Quadrum band. The public will enjoy Harley-Davidson bike show, tent-pegging, and many other fun-filled activities that will be organized in a safe manner, keeping in view the latest health and safety guidelines.
Social distancing measures will be enforced while masks and sanitizers will be readily available for the public. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the organizers believe that the important message about breast cancer awareness must reach the public this year as well so we can save precious lives.
