Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) MPA Sharmila Farooqui on Friday visited the grieved wife and brother of assassinated Nazim Jokhio in Salar village in Malir district of Karachi and expressed condolence with them.
PPP under the leadership of its chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari believes in truth and guarantees justice to all.
The victim family of assassinated Nazim Jokhio will also get justice, she said while speaking during her visit to the village.
Sharmila said that the PPP government was committed to providing justice to all segments of the society without any discrimination of caste, creed or politics.
The PPP MPA said that she had been shocked over the death of Nazim Jokhio, who was a great son of the Sindh soil.
This is a tragic incident, so no compromise would be made on the law of land because the PPP government believes in law and justice, she said and added that the government had always supported poor masses as per its manifesto and guidance provided by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Sharmila said that the Sindh government was taking steps to provide justice to the victim’s family.
She said that all possible help to the victim family would be provided as there is no one above the law of land.
It may be noted that Nazim Jokhio was on Wednesday found tortured to death inside a farmhouse at Jam Goth in Malir district of Karachi.
