Mr. Shahid Ali Khan, Director, Planning & Development/Green Office at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi has been awarded a PhD degree in the field of Forest Management.
The title of his dissertation is “Estimation and Mapping of Biomass and Carbon Stocks across Forest Types at Different Degradation Levels in Margalla Hills National Park”.
The findings of study will significantly help the local forest managers for efficient and effective management of natural resources.
Present study will also provide a deep insight to Researchers & Policy framers for future studies focusing on the effects of land use change on wildlife habitat in Margalla Hills National Park.
