Seven murdered over marriage feud; four killed for monetary dispute

At least five people including a woman were killed in firing over marriage feud here on Saturday, police said. According to details, the incident took place in Yar Muhammad Colony of Larkana where armed men barge into house of rivals with whom they were in dispute over rejecting wedding proposal, and opened indiscriminate fire at the residents. As a result of firing four people including a couple, their two sons were killed on the spot while another was critically injured who also succumbed to his wounds later.
Sialkot: Four armed persons shot dead a local landlord, Muhammad Ashraf and shot at and injured his elder brother Muhammad Ulfat over a marriage dispute in village Ahmednagar Bonga, tehsil Sialkot here Saturday.
The accused fled the scene while firing shots into the air. The injured was shifted to a local hospital in a critical condition. Rescue 1122 shifted the body to a hospital for autopsy. Sialkot Saddar police have registered a case against the nominated accused, Saeed Khan, Rab Nawaz alias Rambo, Dilawar Khan and Naeem Khan. However, no arrest was made till filing of the report.
Lower Dir: Four persons were killed and three injured in a firing erupted during a jirga at Lower Dir on late Friday night over monetary dispute. According to police, the incident happened in Gosam area within limits of Munda Police Station. Firing started between two rivals groups during a jirga that left four dead and three injured. The killed that were reported to be from same family included father, son and two grandsons.
