Saudi Crown Prince MBS excuses from attending G7 summit owing to Hajj season

JEDDAH – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has excused from attending the communication session of the G7 summit, which is scheduled to be held in Italy on June 8.

The Saudi prime minister has sent a cable to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to inform him about the development.

‏The cable included HRH’s regret for not being able to participate due to commitments related to overseeing the works of the Hajj season.

The crown prince emphasized the depth of the relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the friendly Italian Republic, and he wished success for the summit’s proceedings.
