Saudi Arabia has released another 28 Pakistani prisoners in the country’s Damam city.
Flight 9246 of Pakistan International Airlines, carrying 28 released Pakistanis, arrived in Lahore today (Tuesday).
These prisoners were arrested in Saudi Arabia for minor crimes.
On the orders of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Bilal Akbar, has been working to get imprisoned Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia released.
In a tweet, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib also said those Pakistanis detained in Saudi Arabia would be released today.

Due to the prime minister’s efforts, 63 Pakistani prisoners recently freed by Saudi Arabia came home last month.
