Saquib Magoon elected chairman BMP progressive

Saquib Fayyaz Magoon has been elected as the Chairman of the Businessman Panel (BMP) Progressive, while Khurram Ijaz has been appointed as the Secretary General. This announcement came during an important meeting of the BMP Progressive Core Committee, held in Karachi.

Other office-bearers elected include Dr. Jasu Mal Leemani as Senior Vice Chairman, Shakeel Ahmed as Treasurer, Ghulam Mustafa Solangi as Coordinator Sindh Chambers, Aman Paracha as Joint Secretary, Nazli Abid Nisar as Vice Chairman Women’s Wing, Sahibzadi Maheen as Coordinator All Pakistan Women Chambers, Asif Sakhi as Acting Chairman Karachi, and Muhammad Yousuf and Abdul Samad as Vice Chairmen Karachi.

Yasir Iqbal Malik has been named the Media Coordinator and Spokesperson. The meeting, attended by key mentors such as Khalid Puri, Sheikh Shafiq, and senior leaders including Adeel Siddiqui, Mian Shabbir Mansha, and others, was a platform for reviewing BMP Progressive’s performance within the Federation over the past year.

Discussions also revolved around the future course of action to further enhance the performance of the federation and bolster support for the business community. One of the key points discussed was the challenges faced by the business community, particularly in promoting new startups and overcoming existing hurdles. BMP Progressive leaders presented proposals to address these issues and emphasized the importance of FPCCI’s role in advocating for traders’ concerns.

The leaders affirmed their commitment to ensuring that the challenges faced by the business community are brought to the attention of the authorities and resolved promptly.

Speaking on the occasion, the BMP Progressive leaders underscored FPCCI’s ongoing efforts for the business community, reaffirming the Federation’s dedication to maximizing exports and fostering cooperation with relevant authorities to achieve these goals. They also reiterated FPCCI’s vital role as a bridge between the government and the business community, working tirelessly to advocate for traders’ rights and support economic growth.
