The first lady of Pakistan Samina Alvi has urged the business community to play its role for the inclusion of differently abled people in economic process and to support their skill development endeavors. She was addressing a meeting arranged by the Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) here on Saturday. Patron in Chief of KATI SM Mnuneer, President Saleem-uz-Zaman , Chairman and CEO KITE Zubair Chhaya , Senior Vice President Zaki Sharif , Vice President Nighat Awan and head of KATI’s standing committee on Differently abled people Maheen Salman also expressed their views on this occasion.
The first lady said that disabled people were the most ignored people of our society even in our public infrastructure their needs were not considered.
She said that along with President in a meeting with Governor SBP, unavailability of ramps for differently-abled people in banks all over the country.
