Pakistani lawmakers are said to receive handsome salaries and perks, and recent revelations gave required numbers to people who are interested in looking into the full disclosure.

In the country of over 242 million, MNAs enjoy a base salary, additional allowances, session fees, and significant travel reimbursements. The representatives of people also receive annual travel vouchers, cash benefits, and business-class tickets.

As per recent revelations, Members of National Assembly (MNAs) got base salary of Rs150,000, with additional allowances amounting to Rs38,000, and the total amount stands at Rs188,000 monthly.

Chairman of a Standing Committee receives an extra Rs 25,000, making their total monthly earnings Rs 213,000. Lawmakers earn Rs 8,800 for each National Assembly or Standing Committee session they attend.

For travel, these members of lower house of parliament are reimbursed Rs150/km for air travel and Rs 25 per km for road travel. They also receive annual travel vouchers worth Rs 300,000, Rs 90,000 in cash, and 30 business class tickets.
