Exchange rate of Pakistan rupee weakened by 62 paisas against the United States dollar in the interbank trading on Friday and closed at Rs184.09 against the previous day’s closing of Rs183.47.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs184.2 and Rs185.7 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was depreciated by Rs 1.09 and closed at Rs 203.65 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 204.74.
The Japanese Yen lost 01 paisa to close at Rs1.50, whereas an increase of Rs 0.60 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs241.63 as compared to its last closing of Rs241.03.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 17 paisas to close at Rs50.11 and Rs49.07 respectively.—APP
