Member National Assembly, Ch. Shoukat Ali Bhatti has said that present government is starting construction work on all ongoing schemes gradually for ensuring provision of different amenities of life to the masses at their door steps despite coronavirus situation in the country. He was addressing earth breaking ceremony of rehabilitation and repair of protective band scheme worth Rs.40 million at village Kot Saleem situated at embankment of the River Chenab near Hafizabad. Senior leader of PTI district Hafizabad and ex-MNA Ch. Mehdi Hassan Bhatti was also addressed ceremony. Ch. Shoukat Ali Bhatti and Ch. Mehdi Hassan Bhatti said that Saleem Kot protective band was washed away due to flood in the river Chenab in 2014 and no one elected representative or previous governments were bother to get rehabilitate or repair this band which was harming crops.
