Rashid Langrial replaces Amjad Tiwana as new FBR Chairman

ISLAMABAD – The government of Pakistan has appointed Rashid Mahmood Langrial as new Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

The official notification of Langrial for the coveted role has been issued. The new FBR chief is a Grade 21 officer who was previously serving as Secretary of the Power Division.

The new appointment was made as Amjad Zubair Tiwana stepped down as Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Langrial, who holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and has authored a book on women’s socioeconomic conditions, has previously served in various significant roles, including Secretary of the Power Division.
