ISLAMABAD – More rain-thunderstorms with snowfall are expected in Murree, Nathia Gali and other tourist destinations in Pakistan on Sunday evening/night, says the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
As per the synoptic situation, a westerly wave prevails over the upper parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, more rain-wind/thunderstorms with snowfall are expected in Murree, Nathia Gali and other tourist destinations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan on Sunday evening/night.
On Monday and Tuesday, freezing weather with isolated rains and snowfall is likely in Murree and other tourist destinations in the country.
Murree’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between -03 to -01 degrees Celsius on Monday and -04 to -02 C on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, widespread rains and heavy snowfall occurred over tourist destinations in the country during the last 24 hours.

Kalam remained the coldest place where the temperature dropped 08 C below freezing.
In Murree, minimum temperature was recorded at 02 C below freezing. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 75 per cent.
