PESHAWAR – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted partly cloudy weather and scattered rains for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next two days.
As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, partly cloudy weather and scattered rains are likely in Peshawar, parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday and Friday.
Cold and dry weather is likely on Wednesday evening/night.
Freezing weather is expected in upper districts.
Fog update for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Dense fog/smog will likely persist in Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Peshawar, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan and surrounding areas.
Peshawar’s minimum temperature will likely remain between 03-05 degrees Celsius on Thursday and Friday.
Meanwhile, cold wave and foggy weather prevailed in Peshawar and plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 24 hours.
Freezing weather prevailed in upper districts.
Kalam remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped 07 C below freezing.
In Peshawar, the minimum temperature was recorded at 04 C.
Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 100 per cent.
Dense fog/smog prevailed in Peshawar and plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Less visibility disrupted traffic on inter and intra-city roads in plains of the province.
