Rain likely in Karachi, Hyderabad, parts of Sindh from April 17

KARACHI – Rainfall of varying intensities is predicted in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh during the current week.

As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave will likely enter western parts of Pakistan on Tuesday evening/night. It will likely grip most parts of Pakistan on April 17 (Wednesday).

Under the influence of this weather system, rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Larkana, Dadu, Qambar Shahdad Kot, Jamshoro and Sanghar from April 17 (Wednesday night) to April 19.

Karachi’s maximum temperatures will remain between 30-32 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 31-33 C on Thursday.

Hyderabad’s maximum temperatures will remain between 31-33 C on Wednesday and 32-34 C on Thursday.

Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.

Dadu and Nawabshah remained the hottest places in the province where maximum temperature was recorded at 36 C. In Dadu and Nawabshah, relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 54 per cent and 73 per cent respectively.

In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 31 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 84 per cent.

In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 32 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 72 per cent.
