Putin extends Independence Day greetings to Pakistan with hopes for stronger ties

MOSCOW – Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended heartfelt wishes to Pakistan on Independence Day as the country turns 77 today.

Vladimir Putin, in his special message, underscored the deep-rooted relationship between Islamabad and Moscow, hoping for ongoing development of their cooperative ties to enhance.

In a statement, Russian President said Please accept my warmest congratulations on your national holiday—Pakistan’s Independence Day.

Putin, 71, also extended wishes for peace and prosperity to the people of Pakistan, hoping for continued health and success for President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

He further mentioned that strengthening of Russia-Pakistan ties will lead to beneficial outcomes for both sides and contribute positively to global peace. Putin also reaffirmed his commitment to deepening the partnership, wishing the citizens of Pakistan continued peace and prosperity.
