Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that holding of an international business conference by the provincial government during the Dubai Expo in November will bring new investment to the province.
The provincial minister said this while chairing the fourth meeting of a steering committee on Wednes-day to review the departmental arrangements for the Dubai Expo.
He said that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar will be the chief guest of the international business conference and the chambers of commerce and industry and the business community will be fully represented in this conference.
He said that departments concerned should prepare high quality documentaries and materials to make Dubai Expo 2020 fruitful. He said that the Dubai Expo will highlight Punjab’s investment potential globally.
Aslam said that inves-tors will be made aware of the steps taken to expe-dite the process of industrialisation in Punjab through the expo.
