LAHORE – The Punjab Government has revised timings of public and private sector colleges amid severe heatwave predictions in the province.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted heatwave in Lahore and most districts of the province from May 21 to May 27.
According to the notification issued by the Punjab Higher Education Department, public and private sector colleges will operate from 7:30 am to 11:30 am from Mondays to Thursdays and Saturdays and from 7:30 am to 11:00 am on Fridays from May 21 to May 31 in the morning (first) shift.
In the evening (second) shift, public and private medical colleges will operate from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm from Mondays to Saturdays.
