The Punjab Powerlifting Association under the leadership of Commonwealth Gold Medallist Ch. Imran Khalid Gujjar, has announced the 6th Punjab (Raw) Powerlifting Bench Press & Deadlift Championship.
This event will take place on April 27 and 28, 2024, at the Nishtar Park Punjab Stadium in Lahore. Mrs. Maryam Aqeel Shah, an international strength lifter, will serve as the organizing secretary for the championship.
The championship will feature competitions in various categories, including Sub Junior, Junior, Senior, and Master for both men and women.
The championship will adhere to the rules set forth by the World Raw Powerlifting Federation. Therefore, supporting jackets, equipment, and other aids will not be allowed during the competition.
Participating units are requested to submit their entries free of charge. The deadline for entry sub-mission is April 20th, 2024. It is essential for units to ensure timely submission to secure their partici-pation in the championship.
