District administration Hafizabad have announced to cut five percent transport fare of all routes after reduction of petroleum products prices by the government.
This announcement was made by the Deputy Commissioner Sundas Irshad after presiding over a meeting held in this regards. Secretary District Road Transport Authority Ishfaq Rasul, Motor Vehicle Examiner Muhammad Kashif and Managers Bus and wagon Stands attended the meeting. The reduction in transport fare was announced with the consultation of transporters to pass out benefits of reeducation in petroleum products to people.
DC directed all the transporters to past new fare list at their vehicles at prominent places and to ensure implementation on new fare list immediately. She also warned that strict and punitive action would be taken against those transporters who refrain from obeying the directions in this regards.—Bashir Ahmad Rehmani
