Lauds role of religious scholars in confronting menace of fanaticism

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Tuesday declared that objective behind PTI politics is public services as it deems that blessings of Allah the Almighty and inner satisfaction lies in serving humanity.
“The government is fully focused on the public welfare and its three years in rule stands testimony to this fact that no opponent is ever victimized.”
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was talking to renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil who called on him on Tuesday and discussed matters of mutual interest.
The chief minister lauded that cooperation of religious scholars during Corona pandemic is appreciable and the government also acknowledges it as they have guided the government on every occasion.
“The role played by religious scholars to confront the menace of fanaticism intellectually is praiseworthy,” Usman Buzdar pointed out.
Usman Buzdar said that serving the ailing humanity is a mission of the government and the scope of Rescue 1122 is being expanded to the tehsil level.
“The launch of air ambulance service is under consideration and I yearn to give it a practical shape soon,” the CM underscored.
The CM said that this service will help timely rescue of people during incidents of fire, floods and natural calamities.
On the occasion, Maulana Tariq Jamil prayed for the successes of CM Usman Buzdar and appreciated the government’s steps taken for serving ailing humanity.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar directed the administration, Rescue-1122 and other agencies to remain alert.
The CM directed the line departments to monitor the weather situation for starting rescue operation in case of any untoward incident.
Usman Buzdar also expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in different incidents occurred as a result of windstorm and extended sympathies to the heirs.
The chief minister also directed to provide the best treatment to the injured.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar condemned terrorists’ attacks on FC officials in Quetta and Turbat and paid tributes to the martyred officials.
The CM paid tributes to the brave sons for foiling the nefarious designs of the terrorists and termed them as heroes of the nation.
The martyred have sacrificed their lives for maintaining peace in the country, he said and emphasised that terrorists cannot weaken the strong commitment of the nation as it is fully united to eradicate the menace of terrorism.
Meanwhile, Special Assistant to CM on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan called on CM Usman Buzdar and briefed him about various departmental reforms.
The CM directed to fully highlight the steps taken for the welfare of the people and maintained that the volume of work done by the PTI government is unparalleled.
The substantial relief has been given and ease of doing business has been ensured by the incumbent government, he added.
The nation has full trust over the transparent leadership of PM Imran Khan, he stated.
The SACM said the political orphans neither belong to home nor the dock.
Those claiming to destabilize the government have given up the unnatural alliance, she said and regretted the opposition has no strategy or any constructive narrative for the people. The efforts of revitalizing the PDM will not succeed, she added.
The known swindlers have also been ousted from the politics, she added.
The power-hungry cabal is blinded in its lust for power and the PDM leadership is conspiring to stop the development process to hide its misdeeds, concluded the SACM.
