The negotiating committee formed by PTI Chairman Imran Khan for holding talks with powers-that-be fell apart as its members from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have refused to work.
According to sources, the committee members hailing from the KP have refused to work, thus dissociating themselves from being part of the negotiating team.
Sources said that team member Asad Qaiser detached himself from the committee, while Pervez Khattak resigned from the party position on Thursday. Another member of the committee, Murad Saeed, is in hiding to avoid his arrest. The KP government has formed a special committee to arrest Saeed.
On Thursday, there was a rumour that Asad Qaiser and Khattak went missing on Thursday after they went to meet someone at an undisclosed location.
