The leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party have said that the PTI-led government has dropped another inflation bomb on the people by tabling a mini budget of approximately Rs350 billion rupees and further taxes have been levied on essential food items, including the baby milk, while the prices of medicine have also been increased for the 13th time.
This was stated by the PPP leaders, Naveed Qamar, Shazia Marri and Faisal Karim Kundi in a joint press conference held here in Islamabad on Friday.
Sayed Naveed Qamar said that Federal Government while continuing its anti-people policies, has approved a mini budget of three hundreds and fifty billion rupees and this money would come out of the pockets of the people.
He added that government claimed that International Monetary Fund asked them for levying a tax of Rs 750 billion rupees but they have levied a tax of Rs. 350 billion rupees and present government is continuously talking lies with the people and these taxes would be applicable this year and even more burden of taxes would also be expected in the month of June in upcoming year.
