Embattled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Tuesday announced forming coalition governments with Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), Jamaat-e-Islami to form government in the center, KP and Punjab.
PTI Central Information Secretary Raoof Hasan made the announcement after meeting PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail.
Raoof said Imran Khan approved alliance with Jamaat-e-Islami to block the alliance of PML-N, PPP and other parties.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf backed candidates remained at the top in Eleciton 2024 and they are required to join political party within 3 days of the election under the Election Act, 2017.
PTI-backed members of national and provincial assemblies will not be entitled to reserved seats until they join a political party having an election symbol.
The reserved seats will be allotted to the party, independent MNAs and MPAs join after the elections.
