Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government neither believes in the politics of revenge nor it is involved in it.
In a statement issued on Saturday, he said that the bad culture was promoted in the past by politically victimizing opponents besides using the police, administration as well as other agencies for personal gain.
Usman Buzdar said that the incumbent government has freed police and other institutions from political interference besides giving them autonomy in performing government affairs. Public service is the focal point of our politics.
During the last three years, the government has given due attention on sustainable and equitable development and despite of hindrances the journey of serving the people is still continued, he said adding the people have rejected the negative politics of the opposition once and for all.
The chief minister said that the incumbent government has focused on solving the basic problems of the people.
He termed the new Pakistan is the Pakistan of the common man and during a short span of time the government by introducing reforms in different sectors has set a new precedent.
The present government considers the opportunity, provided by Allah Almighty to serve the people, as worship, he added.
