LAHORE – Embattled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is all set to hold a rally in Lahore today, September 21, as the deputy commissioner has granted them permission on some conditions.

The power show will be staged in Kahna area of Lahore as party leaders and workers have started reaching the venue to finalise the arrangements.

The permission comes after the Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected a petition to prevent the rally, ruling it inadmissible, and instructed the government to decide on the public gathering’s approval.

KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur asked to apologise for “vitriol” during Islamabad jalsa.

“Jathas” from out of city shall not come and disturb daily routine life of citizens within Lahore.

No anti-state/anti institution sloganeering and statement be used during the rally.

All those under trial for hate speech in Islamabad rally not allowed to participate.

No Afghan flag to be hoisted and no Afghan paid manpower to be brought to gathering.

PTI Rally Time

As per official notification, the PTI has been asked to hold rally from 3PM to 6Pm at Ring Road’s Kahna area.

Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has urged the administration not to create hindrances in the way of the rally.

He said the public will be able to reach the venue timely if the hurdles were not created by the administration, hence the gathering could be wrapped up in given time.

He also asked the PTI workers to remain peaceful.
