The Chairman Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Syed Mustafa Kamal has demanded to the government to completely close its airspace, business routes and trade with India at the earliest to convey a strong message that Pakistan will go to any extent in support of Kashmiri brethren. He was talking to the Meet the Press Program of Central Press Club Muzaffarabad during his visit to the capital city on Wednesday.
“If India opt for war, it will be fought by 220 million people of Pakistan, not just Pakistan Army”, PSP Chairman warned India.
Mustafa Kamal said that all political forces in the country are united on Kashmir and no Pakistani ruler can trade the blood of Kashmiris who are rendering matchless sacrifices for the last 72 years.
“There is no politics on Kashmir, we can’t even imagine about politics on Kashmir issue. The Pakistani nation is united and standing with their brethren Kashmiris and no decision would be made without Kashmiris”, Kamal added.
He further said that India is not only tyrant; all those silent on the atrocities in Kashmir are equally tyrant as India.
PSP Chairman said that people of Karachi and Sindh are standing behind their Kashmiri brothers and sisters in this situation of crisis and tribulation. He strongly condemned the prolonged curfew, lockdown of the valley and complete communication blackout in the held valley and urged international community and world human rights bodies to take serious note of the deteriorating situation.
Mustaf Kamal made it clear that durable peace in South Asia is deeply linked with the peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute in accordance with aspirations of Kashmiris and relevant UNSC resolutions.
Mustafa Kamal said that he and his party had supported the Prime Minister Imran Khan on his stance on Kashmir. Replying a question he said that Modi, himself internationalized the Kashmir issue and world community will have to address it for the peace in region. In Modi’s presence, we should not expect anything better from Indian courts.
Earlier, Minister for TEVTA and IT, Dr. Mustafa Bashir Abbasi met with Chairman Pak Sarzameen Party Syed Mustafa Kamal and President Anis Qaimkhani on his arrival here and thanked him for his visit to Kashmir for solidarity with the Kashmiris. Members of the National Council Hafizuddin and Shamshad Shamshad Siddiqui were also present in the meeting.
Later, the eight members delegation of Pak Sarzameen Party, headed by Syed Mustafa Kamal and Anis Qaimkhani met with President Azad Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan. Speaking on the occasion, President, Sardar Masood Khan said that visit of PSP to express solidarity with people of occupied Kashmir, will convey a highly positive message to the Kashmiri people on the other side of the Line of Control in Srinagar, Baramula, Islamabad, Badgam and Jammu, and will boost their morale.
He said that the patriotic people of Karachi had broken the back of India by eliminating the terrorism in the city, “Karachi is not only the economic hub of Pakistan, but also the second home of Kashmiri people, he said adding that the sons of Karachi must rise up in support of their oppressed brothers and sisters in occupied Kashmir”, Khan emphasized. He maintained that after ouster of pro-India elements from the politics of Karachi, the back of India stood broken, and India can no longer hatch conspiracies against Pakistan in this city.
Sardar Masood Khan hoped that PSP and all other national parties will jointly raise their voice in support of the besieged Kashmiri people through rallies and demonstrations as well as local and foreign media in Karachi. Speaking on the occasion, PSP Chairman Musatafa Kaml said that India had always weakened Karachi which had served as the backbone of country’s economy.
